Though I do think that the article should have clarified that the technique is likely to be most effective with candidates that have a large swath of experience to draw from. Candidates earlier in their careers are unlikely to have as compelling of initiatives that they've worked on.

It's also worth noting that "the only interview question that matters" is really only effective with some combination of the 18 follow up questions provided.
